NIC FM Services Group has reinforced its commitment to supporting education and social value by presenting Priesthorpe Academy pupils with a certificate confirming 20 tickets for the Leeds Rhino’s as part of the school’s attendance incentive scheme.
The initiative is designed to reward positive attendance, recognising the dedication and consistency of pupils by providing experiences that motivate and inspire. By contributing to the scheme, NIC aims to play a small but meaningful role in encouraging good habits that support long-term educational outcomes.
The certificate was formally presented during a visit to Jo Sykes, Director of CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) for Co‑op Academies Trust, underlining the strength of collaboration between NIC and its education partners.
Speaking about the importance of the initiative, Pete Langsdale, National Operations Director at NIC FM Services Group, said:
“Supporting academies through initiatives like this is incredibly important to us. Strong attendance is closely linked to improved educational outcomes, confidence, and future employability. By backing incentive schemes that recognise effort and commitment, we’re helping to reinforce positive behaviours and showing young people that their dedication is valued.”
At NIC FM Services Group, supporting the communities in which we operate goes beyond service delivery. Working with schools and academy trusts forms part of our wider social value approach, helping to create opportunities, promote aspiration, and build positive relationships between education and industry.
This latest contribution reflects NIC’s ongoing commitment to partnership working, practical support, and initiatives that make a tangible difference to young people’s everyday experiences at school.
