Colleagues at the NIC Support Office in Leeds came together in a fantastic show of support for Breast Cancer Now, raising an incredible £2,011.64 during the charity’s annual Wear It Pink fundraising campaign.
The day saw colleagues across the Support Office swap their usual business attire for pink clothing, while taking part in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the day. The event not only raised an outstanding amount for an important cause but also demonstrated the generosity, teamwork and community spirit that are at the heart of NIC.
Every pound raised will help Breast Cancer Now continue its vital work, funding world-class research, providing life-changing support services and campaigning to ensure that everyone affected by breast cancer receives the care they deserve.
The success of the event was only possible thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of everyone who took part, donated or helped organise the day.
Kelly Dolphin, Chief People Officer at NIC Services Group, said:
“Wear It Pink is a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to come together in support of an incredibly important cause. Raising more than £2,000 is a remarkable achievement and reflects the compassion, generosity and team spirit that exists across our Support Office. I would like to thank everyone who supported the event and helped make such a positive difference.”
Supporting charities and community initiatives remains an important part of NIC Services Group’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace. The success of this year’s Wear It Pink event is another example of colleagues coming together to support causes that matter and making a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement.
