The team at our Birmingham office held a coffee morning event on Friday as part of the Macmillan World’s Largest Coffee Morning event. The team raised £346.00 from raffle ticket sales and cake sales. The raffle included many prizes that were donated from local businesses including tickets from Walsall football club, and a meal at Five Rivers fine dining Indian restaurant.

NIC are continuing their expansion and strengthening of their Operations and Project Management team, with their latest team members completing their induction programme.

The programme includes gaining a full understanding of NIC’s culture and values as well as understanding the business and its support structure. The induction was held at the Central Support Office based in Leeds which provides support to all the operations teams who work across over 2,500 sites, throughout the UK and Ireland.

 

Store Support Manager for the Midlands region, Rob Lee has been given a Tesco ‘Values’ award by the Store Manager at the Express Store in Rowley Regis.

Rob was given the award when he stepped in and provided cover cleaning for the store. Store Manager, Lissa said “We didn’t have a cleaner at the store and Rob stepped in and provided cover for us. He did a fantastic job.”

NIC team members have received special recognition from Tesco for the fantastic service they have provided and the help given by the team at the Hereford Buckingham Express store. The store had a regional store standards competition and was chosen as the winner in the their region.

Mitch Dixon, Store Manager for Tesco says ” I called Karen Simpkins (NIC, Store Support Manager) the night before the visit, I knew she was on holiday but she still crestor 60 mg came in to the store the morning of the visit and spent time making sure the store was perfect for the visit. I feel Karen always goes above her duties to help out and ensure the standards are kept high.”

The NIC Cleaning Operative, Sydney Goodman, was given a ‘Tesco Values’ certificate by the store for the fantastic service he provides and Karen was given special recognition for her outstanding help and support.

 

 

NIC have significantly increased their field based teams over the past few months. The team has seen an increase of 12 new members in field operations and project management.

NIC Team Member Casey Kennedy has been recognised for the great service he has provided, as have the rest of the NIC cleaning team at Morrisons Alloa.

Store Manager Paul Lapping was delighted with Casey’s support to a customer who lost a diamond from her ring whilst in store. Casey was also awarded the NIC ‘Proud buy crestor 5mg to Deliver’ card by Tania McGowan, NIC Store Support Manager for all his great service in the team.

The store cleaning team were also invited to a team buffet with the Morrisons store team as a thank you for helping them to achieve their green light in a recent health and safety audit.
