NIC FM Services Group congratulates Kevin Meighan on his installation as Master of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, following a distinguished ceremony held at Mansion House on Friday 27 March 2026.
Kevin, who joined as one of the Sales Directors for NIC FM Services Group, officially took office during a prestigious banquet in the Egyptian Hall, succeeding former Master Darren Marston. His appointment comes at a landmark moment as the livery celebrates its 40th anniversary year, with a strong focus on raising the visibility and standing of the cleaning industry.
A longstanding member of the Worshipful Company since 2007, Kevin becomes the first Master in its history to hold chartered status both as an accountant and as an environmental cleaner, reflecting the breadth of experience he brings to the role.
Speaking following his installation, Kevin said:
“It is a tremendous honour to become Master of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners during such an important year for the livery. The cleaning industry plays a vital role in every sector of society and deserves continued recognition and investment. I am looking forward to helping drive new initiatives that support both our members and the wider industry. I would also like to sincerely thank NIC FM Services Group for the encouragement and support they have shown me throughout this journey. Their backing has meant a great deal, and I am proud to represent the business in this role.”
During his year as Master, Kevin will place particular emphasis on the WCEC Higher Education Bursary Programme, a new initiative announced at the Installation Banquet that will provide financial support to young people whose parents or guardians work within the cleaning industry. The first bursary award is expected to be made in September 2026.
NIC FM Services Group warmly congratulates Kevin on this outstanding achievement and wishes him every success during his year as Master.
