The NIC team have donated a large collection of toys to Martin House Children’s Hospice in Wetherby, helping to bring comfort, distraction, and moments of joy to children and families receiving care.

As part of the visit, the NIC team was joined by Beth Brown, a representative from Martin House Hospice, who delivered a deeply moving and impactful talk. Beth shared the story of Simba and his mum, giving a powerful insight into how donations like these directly support families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

The story highlighted how simple things, such as toys and play resources, can provide comfort, create positive memories, and offer much-needed normality for children receiving hospice care, while also supporting parents emotionally.

Beth’s words resonated strongly with everyone present and reinforced just how valuable community donations are in helping Martin House continue its incredible work.

NIC would like to thank Beth Brown and the team at Martin House Children’s Hospice for the essential care and compassion they provide every day. The company is proud to support such a vital local charity and remains committed to making a positive difference within the community.
